EL SEGUNDO, CA – September 18, 2009 – NC4, Inc., the leader in Situational Readiness solutions for incident monitoring, crisis management, and secure collaboration, announced today its agreement to acquire TranSecur, the nation’s oldest continually operated provider of global security information and industry-leader in travel risk management. The acquisition will strengthen NC4’s position as the leading provider of accurate, timely and secure information.
Earlier this year, NC4 partnered with TranSecur to bring a new layer of situational awareness to customers. The first phase of the technology integration was the inclusion of TranSecur’s Country Risk Ratings map in NC4’s External Situational Awareness (ESA), providing members a quick visual reference to each country’s risk status. TranSecur’s comprehensive risk analysis of more than 200 countries combined with NC4’s unique geo-relevancy technology that allows customers to create profiles to receive alerts only for incidents that have potential impact, makes ESA the most comprehensive and timely all-hazards events alerting service available in the marketplace today.

This new travel risk management offering will be announced and demonstrated at the ASIS International 55th Annual Seminar and Exhibits.
